Situated inside the popular Park Merced Village in Los Banos, Laguna, Louie Tower Hot Spring Resort is one of the luxurious hot spring resort and villas. But what's the difference between Louie Tower Hot Spring Resort compared to other resorts around the area?
The Place
As mentioned above, Louie Tower Hot Spring Resort is located inside Park Merced Village - a popular village on Los Banos, Laguna where you can find different resorts inside. Walking distance from the village entrance and can be easily scened because of its classy build and noticeable name.
Park Merced Village is just along the highway. From Manila LRT Gil Puyat Station, ride a bus going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna and tell them to drop you off at Park Merced Village.
Villa Features
Louie Tower Hot Spring Resort has 2 villas available. Each villa has 4 big rooms (each room has toilet and bath), outside kitchen, tables and chairs, and of course, the pool. The caretaker mentioned to us that the water is fresh from the mountain.
Each room is air-conditioned. And depending on the room size is the number of available beds. During our stay, we occupied the whole Villa 2. The room that we occupied was the biggest room which contains 3 queen size bed and 2 pull out bed.
Amenities
You can enjoy different amenities in the villa. Notable amenities to enjoy are:
The outside kitchen where you can cook your own food. They have a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, charcoal grill with water dispenser (included on the stay is free 5 gallons of mineral water). You can ask the caretaker if they have utensils and some cooking ware.
4 feet hot spring pool. Recommended that you take a shower first before and after taking a dip. There are a huge amount of benefits about trying dipping on a hot spring! I like our pool because we didn't even notice if they put Chlorine in it!
Villa 2 has a huge parking space inside. But don't worry! There are spaces in front of the villa in case you have more than 3 cars or if you happened to reserve at Villa 1.
Here are some of the images for Villa 1:

Internet connection. Yes, you heard it right! Each villa has designated Internet connection so you can't miss out the happenings on social media even though that you are outside the city.
Experience
We stayed from Sunday, 3PM until Tuesday, 7AM on the Villa 2 (the biggest in size). It was a long stay and we enjoyed it a lot! Our group composed of 8 persons and we occupy one room (the biggest one). It was an awesome stay. The caretakers are welcoming and guided us on this that we need. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Airconditioning unit is awesome as well. We do have a good night sleep and enjoyed each other's company plus the hot spring pool is soothing.
Just in case you need some tips, I wanna share some of the things that we did during our stay:
- Instead of bringing cooked food, we decided to bring snacks instead. We then went ahead to Los Banos market (like 1-2km away from the village) and buy raw goods such as fish, vegetables, rice, seasonings. We also bought paper cups, plates, and plastic fork and spoon since we are unsure if it is provided on the villa.
- Alcoholic drinks are somehow a rare find so its a bit expensive.
- Bring your own toiletries: soap, shampoos, toothpaste and toothbrush, towels and other things for personal hygiene.
- Of course, bring enough clothes!
The Price
I actually don't have much idea about the prices compared to other private resorts around the area but all I can say is that the price is reasonable because of the amenities plus the whole villa has a classy feel in it that makes your stay comfortable.

Our stay here at Louie Tower Hot Spring Resort was amazing. And honestly, I didn't expect that we will have a chance to experience this kind of accommodation and the place is great as well despite big competition around it. You guys will have a big option to look for resorts inside Park Merced but I highly recommend Louie Tower Hot Spring Resort.
