Hotel Review: Eurotel Vivaldi EDSA / Araneta Cubao

After a week of so many hassles and real-life realizations, we decided to stay at Eurotel Vivaldi EDSA for a relaxing weekend. My partner used Travelbook.ph to book our room for a Saturday. I actually didn't expect that this hotel is good to think that most hotels located at Cubao are the ones when people usually stay for a short time.

Eurotel Vivaldi is located along EDSA, almost at the corner of Aurora Boulevard. The location is very accessible to the main spots in the area such as Farmer's Plaza, Araneta Center, Gateway Mall and especially the main highway. The hotel covers the first 7 floors of Vivaldi Residences, a condominium tower.

Room Features

We availed Eurotel's Standard Room. Check-in time is 1PM and check out time is 12PM the next day. If you'll book using a booking site and paid online, be sure to bring necessary requirements. The lobby interior is simple (not as grand as the Eurotel North EDSA) but the staffs are accommodating.

The room is big enough for 2 persons. The bed is a combination of two twin-sized bed to make it a queen's size. 3 pillows are available and I really love it because it's big and soft. 

There's a dresser with a working hair blower. Plenty of power plugs are available around the room which is good. I just wish that the TV is a bit bigger. A small dining table with two chairs plus 2 complimentary water is available.

A spacious closet is located with a safety deposit box inside and 2 slippers for the guests to use. Small AC unit is also there but it is more than enough to make the whole room cold.

Toiletries for two: 2 toothbrush, plastic comb, 1 sachet of shampoo and toothpaste and 1 bar of soap is available. The toilet and bath is spacious. There's a rain shower with a built-in heater.

We shouldn't miss mentioning that the WiFi connection is available and the speed is good. If you need food, you can check out the menu which is provided per room.

Amenities

Our stay at Eurotel Vivaldi EDSA comes with a free breakfast for 2. You can avail them from 6AM to 10AM. It's a buffet breakfast and I should admit that the food is good. You can toast some bread, choose from freshly-cooked egg omelet or sunny-side-up egg, fried rice and more. The food tastes good.

Experience

• I remember before that we can't avail a room (it was Friday evening like months ago) because the receptionists said the hotel is fully booked. Now I know why because well, Eurotel Vivaldi has good facilities and relaxing rooms compared to other hotels with the same price around the same place.
• The staffs are all smile and accommodating which is a big plus for me. They will answer your inquiries and will attend to your needs.
• I still can't get over with the TV because the room is indeed to big for that kind of monitor but its okay.
• We chose to have a room with a view. They gave us the one with the view of EDSA. If you can be easily bothered with the noise, don't choose the room near the highway because of the noise. For us its tolerable and we like to have some daylight on our room.
• The windows are not the usual glass windows on hotels. You need to turn the level and push it upwards.
• We requested for some hot water for our cup noodles. They gave us a Thermos with hot water, no extra charge.

For a budget hotel that can guarantee you to have a peaceful stay, sumptuous breakfast and located at the center of Quezon City, Eurotel Vivaldi EDSA is a must visit. I will definitely go back again and would love to try their suite soon.
