Review: Vue Bar @ Bellevue Hotel

It is one of the places known for its ‘Happy Hour’ at Alabang. If you are looking for a place to spend with your date, family and friends and everyone is ready to hit the dance floor, Vue Bar at Bellevue Hotel is one of the places to go. Delicious food, awesome cocktails and groovy music is all here for a lively night celebration.

The Place

Vue Bar is located at the 22nd floor of Bellevue Hotel. You can see the city by night because of the large windows. Comfortable seating plus a bar for those who just want to watch some sports show while drinking alone or with friends. Though some pointed out that the whole area is quite dark, for me it’s manageable.

The service is good. There are staffs that roam around and are available to take your order. Of course you need to patiently wait (especially if you order cocktails) because there are a lot of customers like every night. There are singers with band who sings different lively songs. And after the live jamming, the bar plays groovy songs especially those new and famous ones.

The Food

They have wide variety of food and drinks available. And what’s good about it is that the serving size is good for 2-3 people. I tried some of their snacks, dishes and drinks and here are my favorites:

Meaty Cheesy Nachos

Meaty Cheesy Nachos – served in a big plate, loaded with meat and cheese. It’s very perfect for sharing and a must-try.

Thin crust pizza

Thin crust pizza – I really love their pizza because of its flavor. It’s also good for sharing but of course its pizza, one plate is not enough right?

Buffalo Chicken Wings

Buffalo Chicken Wings – Though it’s a bit dry, the flavor of the dish is superb, it made me crave for some rice. A must-try dish too.

Berry Sangria

Berry Sangria, Mudslide – Their Berry Sangria is really good. I really like its mixture and for me, it’s perfect for ladies to drink. Their Mudslide is good too. I like the way it taste when you drink (you can taste the mixture of the alcohol at first) and will left a chocolaty taste after you drink it.

The Price

I find the price a bit expensive though. A glass of cocktails costs at around Php 250.00 and up but well, the taste is really great. The dishes too are quite expensive but the serving size and taste is both good.

If you are at Alabang and you are looking for a place to spend some ‘Happy Hour,’ be sure to visit Vue Bar at Bellevue. Be sure to bring someone with you and be ready to hit the dance floor! Don’t forget to wear proper attire (no slippers/open-toe sandals allowed, no shorts and sandos too).
