Review: Food Exchange Manila

Elegant, with wide range of mouth-watering dishes inspired from different countries around the world, Food Exchange Manila offers buffet dishes to satisfy your food cravings. Located at the heart of Cubao, Quezon City, specifically at Novotel Manila, Food Exchange Manila will bring you the taste of different dishes from other foreign countries.

The Place

Food Exchange Manila is located at the lobby area of Novotel Manila at Cubao, Quezon City. A fine-dining buffet restaurant with very elegant interiors, comfortable seats with a very classy ambiance plus accommodating staffs who are around to assist the guests.

The Food

Dishes and delicacies at Food Exchange Manila were inspired from different countries around the world. From Japanese, Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisine, foodies will have large choices of dishes to choose from.

Because there are a lot of buffet restaurants around Manila, I’ll instead share the things that make Food Exchange Manila different to other buffet restaurants around (for what I experience so far from other buffet restaurants):
  • At Food Exchange Manila, you have a chance to interact with the chefs. One of the things I like here is that the chefs are very accommodating and knowledgeable on the dishes that they serve. For example, they have a Margherita Pizza; the Pinoy chef (with a very distinctive Italian accent) will introduce you about the brief history of the dish, the ingredients used and more.
  • Aside from the dishes which is already served and prepared at the buffet section, there are dishes in which the chefs will prepare it for you on the spot. Like their Malunggay Pasta (their pasta of the day that time), it was served hot and it is very delicious!
  • Not all buffet restaurants around have an authentic Indian Cuisine available. And they have it here at Food Exchange Manila! They are very tasty (and of course spicy!) and the Chef (from India) will assist you on how to prepare their dishes.
  • Craving for some cold meat? It is available here at Food Exchange Manila! They have a wide range of meat and sausages available and some of them are prepared by chefs and also available for sale.
  • They also served famous Filipino dessert, from Native Halo-Halo, Kutsinta, Sapin-Sapin, Puto-Bumbong and more! And aside from that they also have cakes and candies. Love Churros? Be sure to give it a try!
