Are you a
fan of seafood dishes? (Especially shrimps?) Shrimp Bucket is one of my ‘now
favorite’ places to eat whenever I crave for seafood experience for sure! My
food adventure surely will not be complete without having a try of sumptuous
seafood dishes located around the metro.
Shrimp
Bucket has 3 branches here in Metro Manila. I visited their branch here at Tomas
Morato, Quezon City. Shrimp Bucket specializes with their savory seafood plus
other meat dishes. Their place here at Tomas Morato is quite small but with quiet
ambiance and attentive staffs.
Here are
some of the available dishes here at Shrimp Bucket:
Kani and Shrimp Salad
Kani and
Shrimp Salad – Refreshing appetizer to start up with your Shrimp Bucket
experience.
Shrimp Skewers with 5 spice dip
Shrimp
Skewers with 5 spice dip – The dip reminds me of my mom’s favorite spice—The
Cardamom. Hoping that the shrimp itself
has some added flavors to for those who are not fan of sauces with spices.
Shrimp Sebastiana
Shrimp
Sebastiana – This new appetizer soon to out in line with their appetizers,
Shrimp Sebastiana is a delicious shrimp dish that makes you crave for rice.
Coated with crab’s Aligue plus a secret seafood flavor, this dish is a must-try
and shouldn’t be missed.
Dad’s Seared Chicken in Coconut Milk
Dad’s
Seared Chicken in Coconut Milk – Not all available dishes here are purely
seafood. This dish literally makes me say “Panalo!” as its caramelized onion,
soft chicken meat with a kick of spiciness is really good.
Mussels (The Mardi Grass)
Mussels (The
Mardi Grass) – Veeeery yummy! It is a combination of mussels plus Spanish
Chirizo, served in a plastic bag and shake. I am not a fan of mussels but this
dish literally changed my point of view for seafood.
Shrimp (Salty EggPerience)
Shrimp
(Salty EggPerience) – Big shrimps plus salted egg, served also in a plastic bag
and shake. Just the sauce itself makes you say “Rice, please!” Very tasty dish
and also a must-try.
Sollie’s Tapioca in Coconut Milk
Sollie’s
Tapioca in Coconut Milk – For me, I recommend this dessert to try rather than
their cakes. Very refreshing dessert perfect to dilute the strong taste of
every dish.
They
served alcoholic drinks and other refreshing juices too. Like Iced Tea and Mojitos.
Price
wise, it is quite pricey if you would eat alone. Since the dishes are perfect
for sharing with 2-3 persons, it is recommended to bring someone with you. Prices
ranges from about Php 200.00 and up per dish.
All in
all, my Shrimp Bucket experience is truly sumptuous! If my friends will look
for a place to eat delicious seafood dishes, Shrimp Bucket for sure is
recommended!
