Located at
Kamagong Street, Makati City, in line with other restaurants along the area,
Frangos stands out with its big signage and Portuguese-Country Style ambiance. With
approx. 40 people can accommodate inside the restaurant, staffs are here at
Frangos to attend to your needs.
Frangos
started as a small booth at Legaspi Market at Makati. As days goes by and lots
of orders are being in place, they decided to accept orders at the owner’s
house which eventually looks like have been converted into a place to eat. They
decided to find a place for their growing number of customers and spotted this
area at Makati where Frangos is currently located today.
Aside from
the chicken, there are also other dishes available here at Frangos. In line
with their Portuguese-style chicken, here are the other dishes that shouldn’t
be missed:
Chorico Sausage and Roast Garlic
Chorico Sausage and Roast Garlic Crostinis (Php 300.00) – With
some slices of garlic bread plus top it with the dish. It is one of my favorite
appetizers served here.
Roasted Pumpkin Hummus

Pumpkin Hummus (Php 95.00) – Another appetizer treat that makes you say “Hmm,
it’s roasted!”—delicious roasted pumpkin mashed and combined with garbanzos
plus the bread will surely tickle your taste buds.
Frangos (Buffalo) Wings

(Buffalo) Wings (Php 195.00) – Fan of spicy Buffalo wings? This dish is
absolutely a must-try. You can taste the flavor inside the chicken’s meat plus
it is soft to bite. For spicy food lovers, this might be not too spicy for your
taste but spicy enough for others.

(Php 480.00 / whole) – After tasting it (without the sauce), it is quite plain
for me which I kinda find a bit off since I’m not into “dipping into the sauce”
type of eater. But it is made as is because it is perfect to pair with the 3
kinds of sauces served together with this dish.

Steak (Php 230.00) – Yup, you heard it right. They also offer this sumptuous
steak. Perfectly marinated, bigger in size but the steak is not that thick.
Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream

Shortcake Ice Cream (Php 100.00 / scoop) – Finish your sumptuous Portuguese-style
dishes with their smooth and creamy ice cream.
Red wines
and beers are also available here at Frangos. Of course, pairing a chicken dish
with some alcoholic drinks is a perfect way to enjoy your dining experience.
The price
is quite affordable compared to the restaurants that served grilled chicken too
(of course, not the fast food one). Perfect place for young professionals
especially when its payday.
