Amazing Stories of Yexel's Museum recently had their Grand Launch last December 5, 2014. Brought to you by Manila Shows and Display
Corporation, the newest tenant of Manila Ocean Park, toy enthusiasts and children of all ages will surely have a fabulous
time.
Who is Yexel behind the Amazing Stories of Yexel's Museum?
Yexel Sebastian
is a certified toy enthusiast. He started his toy collection when he was 7 years old by collecting small
toys from fast food outlets. As a young adult, he became a member of
popular dance groups, had a stint in show business, worked abroad and
gained enough capital to pursue his expensive hobby of collecting toys.
He exemplified his passion through his toy museum. Aside from being a toy collector, Yexel is a producer, director, scriptwriter and actor of his short films. Yexel's
aim for putting up his toy museum is to inspire the Filipino youth to
follow their dreams.
Other celebrities are also present during the grand launch. Yexel Sebastian and Mikee Trixia Agustin together with 2 of the known cosplayers in the Philippines, Alodia Gosiengfiao and Myrtle Sarrosa, Eric Ejercito, Brian Poe Llamanzares, Roadfill, Moymoy Palaboy and Chicser.
What can be seen inside the museum?
There are 7 spaces in the museum. Featuring Yexel's life-sized interpretations, educational exhibits and trivias on
toy making, creatures, outer space and more. There also collection of action figures and some of the sections are inspired from Lord of the Rings, Iron Man movie, Star Wars, Spiderman and a lot more. A
souvenir shop and activity area are also found inside the attraction.
(Hey wait! It's suppose to be the other way around!) Nope! This is an upside-down bedroom!
