Manila Sound: Then and Now - 70's OPM Hitmakers [#SolaireManilaSound]

Hit makers of the 70's gathered at Solaire Resorts and Casino Grand Ballroom last September 5, 2014. One of the events that surely OPM fans are looking forward to see! I was lucky enough to be part of this awesome experience!

From Steve O'Neal Productions and Solaire Resorts and Casino, Manila Sound: Then and Now brought the notable hitmakes of the 70's - Sampaguita, VST & Co. vocalist Male Rigor, Hagibis member Sonny Parsons, Gary & Bob from Boyfriends and Mark Mabasa & Friends. It's a 2-hr mini-concert which showcase their songs that marked the Philippine music industry - from VST & Co.'s "Ipagpatawad Mo," Sampaguita's "Nosi Balasi," Hagibis' "Katawan," and much more!

My instagram update before the show started.

The crowd goes wild when the performers went to the stage and started singing their songs. It's been the best and everyone sang with the singers and groove to the beat!

"Nanggigigil" performed by Mr. Sonny Parsons of Hagibis.

VST & Co.'s Male Rigor singing "Ipagpatawad Mo."

Sampaguita's "Nosi Balasi" makes the crowd wild!

Singers performed "Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika" as an ending song of the night.

I really enjoyed the show so much since I am a fan of 70's, 80's and 90's songs. Its a delight to see that everyone really enjoyed the night. The singers also interacted with the audiences and dance with them. Also after the show, the artists went to the lobby to take pictures with the fans, including me! (I'm to shy to upload my pictures with them).

We are hoping that there will be another kind of mini-concert like this that will happened. Original Pinoy Music is still in the hearts of us Filipinos. And Pinoy hit makers are the best!
