It's Raining Books! The 35th Manila International Book Fair

Its the time of the year for every book enthusiast, writers, publications, authors, and book worms to gather at the biggest book fair this year: The 35th Manila International Book Fair! It's a 5-day book fair happened last September 17-21, 2014 at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

The whole ground of SMX Function rooms are crowded with different booths and people looking and buying books. Good thing there's a baggage counter (free of charge) where you can deposit your extra luggage so you can roam around without hassle. Entrance fee is also cheap - Php 20.00 for adults and Php 15.00 for students, teachers, and elderly.

The biggest collection of books is gathered here! From children's book, academic books, romance book, religion books, illustrations, educational materials, and other books are here. This event is also an event where Filipino book authors and publications showcased their work of art.

Other than the book fair, there are also special events happened simultaneously. At the Meeting Room of SMX, it is occupied by special events like forums, press conference, book launching, meet-and-greet, workshops, and more.

Of course as a book lover, I wouldn't miss this kind of event! I went at the 2nd day (September 18) after the book launching of 'Moymoy Lulumboy: Ang Batang Aswang.' You just can't resist of buying the books you really want for a lower price as most of the books available are on promos.
