Hi everyone! Today I decided to make something out of my Oreo biscuits at home. I remember when I was still studying Information Technology at my former school, I always wanted to taste the fried Oreos that is available in our canteen. But since its quite expensive and I only have limited budget for my allowance, I didn't able to buy one. Now since I have the available ingredients at home, I'll be making a Deep-fried Oreo!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of Milk
- 1 Tbsp White Sugar
- 1 pc Egg
- 10-15 pcs Oreo Cookies
- Cooking oil for deep-frying
- Pre-heat a cooking pan. Once done, put a generous amount of cooking oil enough for the Oreo biscuits to be deep-fried.
- Now we have to make the batter/coating for the biscuits. In a bowl, mix the Flour, Milk, Sugar and Egg. Mix well until you get the right consistency.
- Carefully coat the Oreo biscuits with the batter. Then put it in the cooking pan.
- Deep-fry the Oreo biscuits for about 3 minutes or until its golden brown.
- Put the fried Oreo biscuits in a plate with paper towels so it will absorb the excess oil.
- And you're done!
You can also watch my video on how I make this deep-fried Oreo! You can check what kind of consistency we need for the batter. The crispiness of the coating combined with the softness of the Oreo biscuits is heavenly!
Enjoy your home-made Deep-Fried Oreos! Share it with your family and also with your friends! You can also serve this to your kids and they will especially like it!
