One of the much awaited movie was announced to be in theaters on February 2015 - Fifty Shades of Grey - based on the best selling novel by E.L.James.

Universal Studios and Focus Features presents Fifty Shades of Grey. It will be on theaters at Valentines next year (2015). The erotic, romantic book comes with the movie and the cast are revealed. It was produced by Michael de Luca, E.L.James, and Dana Brunetti.

The cast will be Dakota Johnson, will portray the role of very clumsy and brunette Anastacia Steele, and Jamie Dornan as the young millionaire Christian Grey.
Pictures from Entertainment Weekly November 2013 issue.

The movie trailer was out last July 24, 2014, featuring an exclusive version of Beyonce's 'Crazy in Love' as the background music. Here's the movie trailer of the movie. (Yup, who will ever forget the elevator scene?)

According to other sources, the big screen adaptation won't contain all of the most memorable bedroom scenes. The producers are keen to avoid America’s highest cinema age rating which bans under-18s. For sure this movie will be rated as Rated PG here in the Philippines.

Let's wait and see how this movie will show and emphasize the details, or at least, in the book from E.L.James. Of course we should expect it to have 3 parts - the two are 'Fifty Shades Darker' and 'Fifty Shades Freed.'

SM Cinema Philippines announced that the said movie will not be available on their cinemas because of its R18 MTRCB rating. SM Cinema mentioned that it is in accordance with the company’s policy not to screen films containing themes, language, violence, nudity and sex that may not be suitable for children below 18 years of age.
