Another D-I-Y Project that surely will suit for the school days or even for the book worms who really like reading books! A simple Felt Bookmark Tutorial made of felt cloth and paper clips! In this tutorial, there would only be 3 steps that you need to follow as a guide.
The best thing here is for you to have a creative imagination. You don't have to have a same design like in my example. You can do the designs you want.
Things that you need:
Felt cloth
Scissors, Paper Clips, Threads and Needle (optional)
Procedure:
- Think of a design that you want. In this tutorial I made a flower design. You can hand sew it to add more details or you can also use a hot glue gun instead. Be sure to make a 'stem.' (the green felt cloth in the image below).
- Get your paper clip. It's up to you if you want to make your design proportional to the paper clip. The bigger the paper clip the better. (In my tutorial, I only have small paper clips which is the only available size on my desk).
- Insert the 'stem' to the paperclip. You can hand sew it so the 'stem' and the paper clip is secure. Now you can use the felt with paper clip as a bookmark to your favorite books or even to your notebooks, planners, etc.
Having these simple felt bookmarks will surely be fun as you show your uniqueness. Also it is another way of having a bonding time with your friends, family and classmates by making these project with them. Also it will help you show the creativeness in you! ツ
