For A Cause: The 100 Peso Project

Who says helping a person in need is very rare nowadays? With the power of social media especially in this era, spreading a word has never been this easy. And thru one's faith for humanity, we can help a man lift his spirit by helping him. This is how The 100 Peso Project aims for.

The 100 Peso Project started about 2-3 months ago, when a netizen namely Kinah Villanueva saw a man named Mulong, a vendor who sell breads and candies along the street of Gen.Santos Avenue, Bicutan. Even he was diagnosed to have a Cerebral Palsy, the sickness didn't stop Mulong on finding ways to earn money for a living. His story inspired Kinah, took photo of him and shared it on Facebook which instantly became viral.

The main mission of the group is to help a person who are less fortunate. With the minimum amount of Php 100.00, people can donate and the money will be use to buy needs for the group's beneficiary.

Mulong is the group's first beneficiary. They managed to help Mulong by giving him groceries and other needs. As of today, they are aiming to help him for his medical needs.
