DIY Project: Foam Flowers (with video)

Hi guys! Welcome to another DIY tutorial. Today, I'll be teaching you on how to make a flower using craft foam. After seeing the craft foam on my storage box, I decided to do something that will help me also to decorate my bedroom. Let's get started!

Materials:
  • Craft foam
  • Floral Stamen
  • Florist Tape
  • Sticks
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors
Pattern:
Procedure:
  • Cut petals out of craft foam. Cut at least 10 pieces. You can use my pattern provided as a guide.
  • After cutting, stretch the sides of the petal. This will give more drama to the petal and will add extra length and width.
  • Prepare your stick and get your artificial floral stamen. Wrap the stamen at the end of the stick. Use a hot glue gun to support the stamen more.
  • You can now start gluing the petals on the stick. Feel free to do the arrangement on how you want the flower to look like.
  • If you happened to have a florist tape, use it to wrap around the stick.  This will give you a more stem-like drama to the stick. Cut the stick to your desirable length.
  • And now you are done!
I provided a video which can show you a more detailed tutorial on how I made my foam flowers.

So there you have it! Our Foam Flowers Tutorial! You can now use it for decorations and so much more!

Remember your creativity is not the finding of a thing, but making something out of it until it is found. Thanks for reading!
